Check the basics by identifying if the issue is one terminal or all

Step 1: Check the Basics

  • Power: Ensure the credit card terminal is powered on and properly connected to the POS system and network. Check for any loose cables or tripped circuit breakers.
  • Connection to POS: Verify the connection between the credit card terminal and the POS system. Ensure the cables are securely plugged in at both ends.

Step 2: Isolate the Problem
