My music speakers are not working

Check speaker connections and inspect amplifier 

  • Check Speaker Connections:

    • Visually inspect all speaker connections to ensure they are securely plugged into the amplifier.
    • Pay close attention to the wiring, ensuring there are no loose or damaged wires.
    • If any wires are damaged or disconnected, contact the IT Department for replacement or repair.
  • Inspect the Amplifier:

    • Ensure the amplifier is powered on and the power indicator is illuminated.
    • Check the volume level on the amplifier and ensure it is turned up to an audible level.
    • Verify the amplifier is receiving an audio signal from the Mood Media device.
    • If the amplifier is not powered on or appears faulty, contact the IT Department.
  • Isolate the Problem:

    • If possible, test the speakers with a different audio source (e.g., a portable music player) to determine if the issue lies with the speakers themselves or the audio source.
    • If the speakers work with a different audio source, the problem may be with the Mood Media device or its connection to the amplifier.
